I absolutely love books. I grew up around avid readers, especially the females in my family. I have always been on the shy side so I turned to books in my younger years. Because of this I grew up with a love of books as well as an eclectic reader. I am not as shy anymore but I still adore books!
I am currently accepting books and products for review from authors, publishers, and publicists.
I need a week to a month, depending on the size of the book to have the book read and what I have going on in my life. If you need the book reviewed before that time frame, please let me know and I will do my best to make accommodations. I always welcome, interviews, book giveaways/contests, blog tours and guest posts, etc.
I accept all types of books except for:
- Paranormal
- Horror
- Fantasy
- Science Fiction
- *I do not typically enjoy books with course/foul language, medium to extreme sexual content, or graphic violence.
- Erotica - I did read and enjoy the Fifty Shades Trilogy, I am open to reviewing erotica but it does need an actual storyline/plot I like for me to read it.
*Please don't ask me to review your book and tell me I need to buy your book to review it.*
I do my best to have a review up within a month of receiving the book; with that said, I will only give my honest opinion and thoughts on the book. I cannot promise to always have a positive review. But, it will always be honest.
I do cross review, meaning I post on Shelfari, LibraryThing, GoodReads and ChristianBooks. But if you want my review posted on another site, please let me know.
In accordance of the new FTC Guidelines, I will say at the end of my review that I received my review copy of the book from either the publisher or author.
Also, not said in my reviews but here on my Review Policy, no, I do not get paid for my reviews, they are voluntary.
In my book reviews, I like to give a cover shot of the book, along with the ISBN number, price, etc. I always put the synopsis of the book or my own summary of the book. I always give my reactions to the book, and weather I would recommend the book or not. I typically give a link to Amazon or Barnes and Noble, LibraryThing, etc. for the book as well.
