Curiosity Killed The Kat (Katherine Flynn #1) by Elizabeth Nelson REVIEW

Curiosity Killed The Kat (Katherine Flynn #1)

A Date With The Devil (Katherine Flynn #2)

The Game Is On (Katherine Flynn #3)

Katherine "Kat" thought she had the perfect marriage to International Lawyer Steven Flynn. Until he tried to kill her. Katherine was the perfect obedient wife. She would do anything for her husband.
That is, until she discovers he's the ring leader of a human trafficking organization.

Kathrine marries an international lawyer, she loves her husband Steven and would do anything for him and does. Even in their sex life, when he wants to take S&M to 'the next level' which in translation is torturous; especially without having or respecting a 'safe word'. She endures the torture and abuse because she loves and adores him. She was blissfully ignorant of her life. As long as she did what she was ask..correction- told, all was great in her world. And she is blissful in her life...until a dinner outing with her husband and one of his partners from the lawful happen. His date confides in Kat that she needs help because she is fearful of her life. She tells all she knows to Kat, which is more then enough.

After the date tells Kat about what the men are really up to, it sends Kat on a journey of discovery and opens her eyes to a whole new world and she realizes what she is capable of doing in this world.

One thing I know about myself, I cannot be a submissive. In any shape or form. I am too opinionated and independent for that. I really enjoyed this book, even with the S&M. It was a quick read, a bit too quick for me, partly because I couldn't stop reading period. Also, it wasn't that long. I wish the book was a bit longer. The author got the plot and characters down, she is great at writing this genre and I cannot wait to read the next two books.

I recommend this book (series) if you don't mind S&M/sexual language.

I received this book for review from Virtual Author Book Tours
