REVIEW:
This was such a sweet and romantic read. To have a friendship with someone since childhood and grow to love each other like that is one of a kind. Then throw war time into the mix. Talk about tough. Rowena and Even have a love, respect, and commitment to each other that I think we all can appreciate. I liked how the romance to the relationship was a slow buildup, not rushed. Felt more realistic. I liked Rowena. She's fun yet not a square. She gets herself into situations and Evan was able to loosen up because of Rowena despite the issues he had going on. I would call this a regency read for sure, but I appreciate the love story, the story line itself and the loving romance. I thoroughly enjoyed this read and I am sure most every other reader will too.
