Excerpt:
Cynthia could not resist that man of hers. So, she grabbed his hands and stood in front of him. He pulled her close, embraced her, and placed his forehead upon hers. He began to pray over him and his wife.
“Dear Lord, hear my pleas. I lift my heart to you today. I ask that you give Cynthia and me strength to make the right decisions. I ask that you show me how to love her through the pain that I have inflicted upon her. I ask that you open her heart to receive and forgive. I ask that you heal the deep wounds that have been created because of poor choices. I decree and declare that our marriage will be made whole again. I ask these things in Jesus name. Amen!” Edward prayed.
Cynthia was full of emotions as Edward gently lifted her face and kissed her quivering lips. The peck quickly turned into something that neither of them thought it would be.
Life Lesson Two: Ignoring an issue will not make it disappear. You must become grounded in the word so that you will have the strength to endure the storm.

What is the Meaning of Biblical Proportions
I would like to take this time to introduce myself. My name is Natashia Brewer and I am a wife, mother, business owner, songwriter, music producer, author, speaker, etc. Wow, that is a lot. I know, I know. Being all these things takes a ton of pray, patience, and strategy. I am not going to bore you today with all the things I do to get done what I get done. I want to take this moment in time to introduce you to my latest project, my second published book, Biblical Proportions.
What is the meaning of Biblical Proportions? Biblical Proportions describes situations in our lives that have a substantial impact. It does not matter if it is a good situation or a bad situation, either way there will be consequences and how you deal with said consequences is very important. This idea of writing the book Biblical Proportions was dropped in my spirit as I was reading the Bible and recognized that the situations we are dealing with today are already written. At that moment I recognized that stories needed to be told to: one to bring awareness to how relatable the Bible is; two show the readers how important developing a relationship with the Lord is; and three share an overall message. Biblical Proportions is a story about twin brothers who are music executives in their family business, the dynamics of this book was inspired by the story of Esau and Jacob from the Bible. James and Edward are polar opposites, but they find themselves in the battle of a lifetime. These two gentlemen where fighting the consequences of some bad choices and the only way out was to strengthen their faith and surrender to the will of the Lord. They found their strength, peace, and their purpose along the way.
How many of us in this day and time have found ourselves in life altering situations that we have no explanation on how we made it to the other side. I know from personal experience how this can make one feel. Last year I found myself separated from my husband (whom I’ve been with for over 23 years) and jobless for the first time in my adult life (been working for that company for 20 years). I had bills and two children to take care of. I didn’t know what I was going to do; however, I knew there was light on the other side of the storm. I prayed and surrender to the process and the will of the Lord for my life. I recognize now that if I had not gone through the storm and found God, found who I was as a woman, found what I was called to do, I would not be who I am today. I would not have written two books. I wouldn’t have spoken on various platforms. I wouldn’t have written the songs I have written. I wouldn’t have grown. I wouldn’t have had the confidence to submit my work to a charity and become a contributing songwriter. If I wouldn’t have walked through the storms, crawled on some days with tears streaming down my face, I would still be stuck.
The message of the book Biblical Proportions is to inspire people through their own personal storms. I am blessed with the ability to create characters that are very personable, relatable. They feel like you know them in real life. With this gift, it brings the reader’s guard down to be open to receive the message which is storms in our lives are not meant to harm us. The storms of life are meant to birth something out of us and push us into purpose. Yes, it is painful. Yes, you may lose people who were close to you. Yes, you may be uncomfortable and feel out of sorts. Yes, you may feel lonely. I am a living witness that in the end it was all worth it.
