REVIEW:
This was a first read by this author for me but after reading this book, it won't be my last read by this author. I'll be starting with the beginning of this series to get caught up. This was a fun read so I am looking forward to the first 6 books :)
I really like the character Betsy. She doesn't want or need any more problems or drama in her life than she already has. But that plan gets turned upside down when she finds a body in the dirt.
I loved that even though this was a murder mystery, the author made me laugh. Especially with the jokes and puns! I don't typically find myself laughing while reading a murder mystery so that was fun and different.

that are closer to the Twilight Zone than small town cozies. When Teresa isn’t writing, she is a full-time caregiver for her son and teaches preschoolers music part-time. Her favorite things include spending time with family and friends, waiting for brownies to come out of the oven, and of course, a good mystery.
