Review:
I have to admit...I have a few of Trigiani's books that I heard were good, I have seen a couple movies based off of her books but...I hadn't yet read any of her books. I know of her books and I have heard that she is a great author and talented author...So I have to say...Oh. My. God. I loved this book. I knew I was getting into a seasoned author's book and I have yet to hear a bad word about any of her books so I was so excited at the opportunity to her new book. I loved the setting of the story, or should i say settings of the story as we the reader travel a bit in this one...
The characters are real with situations we can relate to. There was such heart and depth and later upon layer in this story without losing or boring the reader. The first part of the book is a bit slow but only because Trigiani is building the character and giving the reader a chance to sink in. After the first part of the story is established, the reader is taken on a real journey and can't turn the pages or read fast enough. I now see why so many people love her books. After reading this, I now wonder what has taken me so long to read her books?!
